Amanpulo is set on its own private island, Pamalican, part of the Quiniluban group of Cuyo Island in the Philippines. Guests arrive from Manila by chartered plane which lands directly on Pamalican.Surrounded by white sand beaches, turquoise water and a coral reef three hundred metres from the shore, the resort provides a variety of watersports and beach activities
Amanpulo’s 29 Beach Casitas come with a private path that leads through a tangle of bush directly onto a white-sand beach. The four Treetop Casitas climb with the palm trees high above the island, while the five Hillside Casitas offer unimpeded sea views. The resort's two Deluxe Hillside Casitas feature spectacular prospects of the Sulu sea and the neighbouring islands. Each casita comes with a gasoline-powered golf cart for exploring the island.
Amanpulo also has its own private villas for rent. The Nature Villa (Casa Kalikasan ) is a spacious 4,140 meter villa that can accommodate up to eight guests. It features four free-standing bedrooms, a separate living room, kitchen, and open-air dining pavilion, all set around a garden courtyard. There are two golf carts available for the exclusive use of villa guests and three permanently assigned villa attendants.
The West Villa (Casa Kanluran) lies within a 5.6 hectare complex, stretching from the hillside down to the sea. It features three private casitas (identical to the resort casitas), a main villa designed for up to 10 children and nannies (with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a living room), a kitchen and private beach club. There are four golf carts available for the exclusive use of villa guests, and three permanently assigned villa attendants.
Villa guests enjoy the use of all resort facilities and services

Amanpulo's light-filled Clubhouse overlooks the swimming pool and encompasses the Restaurant, the Lobby Bar and Terrace, the Boutique and Galleries and the Library . The resort lounge and most of its public facilities are located there. The Restaurant , located in a wing at one end of the Clubhouse, spills out onto a terrace, with views to Manamoc Island across the channel. There's a regular Asian barbecue held at the Picnic Grove . Enjoy the views from the Clubhouse Bar or take your drinks outside onto the terrace. Amanpulo's 30-meter swimming pool is bordered by two trellises of bougainvillea. Large, open-air salas are arranged on the expansive green behind the pool. The salas come with larger-than-king-size mattresses for poolside lounging. A garden walkway leads down from the pool to the sand beach and Amanpulo's own Beach Club . Half-a-dozen sand-white mattresses with matching pillows are spread out on the deck, facing the sea. Rattan stools line the Beach Club, and beach umbrellas set in stone tables are coupled with reclining beach chairs. The Beach Club serves lunch, snacks and refreshments.

Amanpulo, (peaceful island) is set on a private island all its own. Pamalican is part of the Quiniluban group, which makes up the northern half of the Cuyo Islands. It's one of nearly 1,800 islands in Palawan, the largest province in the Philippines. A low-lying coralline island, Pamalican is covered with a sandy jungle of thickets and bush and rimmed by seven square kilometers of pristine reef. At its widest point, the 5.5-kilometer tropical island is only 500 meters across
